Welcome to Elle & East Luxe! Below are the most common questions I get about working together. Please read through before placing your order — it helps us stay aligned, avoid delays, and keeps your project flowing smoothly.
Can I change my mind after placing an order?
Once your order is placed, it’s added to my design queue. Changes can affect the flow of other scheduled projects, so please message me as soon as possible if you need to adjust something. I’ll let you know if changes can be accommodated without disrupting the schedule.
Why didn’t I get a confirmation email from you directly?
You might not receive a personal confirmation right away — especially during busy times. If you’re unsure whether your order went through, feel free to contact me and I’ll confirm everything for you.
How long will my project take?
Turnaround times vary by service and are listed in each product description. Revisions can extend that timeline, especially during peak seasons. If you need your design fast, ask about rush service options (available on select projects).
What if I don’t like the first draft?
That’s okay! Every brand is different and creativity is a process. I offer 3 free revisions on most projects to make sure we get it right. If more are needed, a small revision fee will apply. Once a project is finalized and files are delivered, any changes will also be considered a new revision.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final. Due to the custom nature of design work, I do not offer refunds unless I am personally unable to complete your project due to illness or emergency. Changing your mind or choosing another designer is not a valid reason for a refund. Once work has started or partial designs have been sent, no payments will be returned.
What happens if I cancel midway through the project?
If you choose to cancel after the project has started, any payments made will not be refunded. All incomplete files and design work remain the property of Elle & East Luxe until the project is finalized and paid in full.
Do you offer editable files?
Final files are delivered in high-quality formats like PNG, JPG, and PDF. If you need editable files (PSD, AI), that must be discussed upfront. Additional fees may apply. Core working files remain the property of Elle & East Luxe unless otherwise agreed.
What if I stop responding during the project?
If I don’t hear back from you within 7 business days, your project may be archived. A restart fee may be required to resume. Consistent communication helps keep your spot secure and your project moving forward.
Do you offer rush service?
Yes! If you’re on a tight deadline, message me before placing your order. Rush slots are limited and available for select services only. Additional fees apply.
Can I use the designs for merchandise or printing?
Yes — once final files are delivered and paid for, you’re free to use them for your brand’s needs like printing, marketing, packaging, etc. Just let me know beforehand if you’re planning on large-scale or merch printing so I can format your files correctly.
Can you recreate something I found online?
No, I do not duplicate another designer’s work. I respect the creative work of others and will never copy a design. If you have a reference for inspiration only, I can create something original that aligns with your brand’s aesthetic.
Can I resell or share the designs you made for me?
No. All designs are for your personal or business use only. They cannot be resold, redistributed, or claimed as your own unless we’ve agreed to a licensing or white-label arrangement.
Will I own the design after it’s complete?
Yes — once your final payment is made and the files are delivered (excluding editable core files unless discussed), the designs are yours to use. I reserve the right to feature your project in my portfolio or marketing unless otherwise agreed.
